Part 1

The sun was slowly setting behind the trees in the little village of Japan where two rival families were having a meeting. The representatives of the Shadow clan included their leader, his pregnant wife and some other people while The Sunshine Clan's representatives were only the clan's leader's younger brother and their family.



The leader of the Shadow Clan said,"Tobi, I believe the details are all perfect so shall we fix the date of the duel."



"They are, but lets wait till my elder brother comes, anyway when are you expecting your first child?"



The leader of the Shadow Clan looked at his wife and she smiled shyly and told Tobi,"Well brother I am expecting my child soon."



Then the topic of discussion diverted to some other issues. While all this talk was happening the leader of the Sunshine Clan was talking a walk in the Cherry Garden with his Wife and Child. While the talks were going on The leader of the Shadow Clan sensed some new presence and some Shadows appeared to move and before he could react some people jumped from the Shadows and one of them said in a cold voice,"What Brother, won't you invite me join your little get together?"



The leader of the Shadow Clan got really angry on seeing his evil younger brother and said,"You have no place in this meeting get yourself out of here."



Then the younger brother of the Shadow Clan's leader said,"I will, but not without taking your souls along."



"What is the meaning of all this?",said Tobi.



"Oh Tobi, now I am going to kill all of you."



"Why are you doing this Younger Brother?",said the leader of the Shadow Clan and to this his younger brother replied,"Well Brother the thing is that I have had enough of living in your "Shadow" now even if our clan wins the tournament you will be treated as the King and I will just continue to live in the shadows but if I kill you and everyone present here The Village will undoubtedly elect me as their new King and without the next generation to lead the Clan I can become the King for a long long time."



The leader of the Shadow Clan was shocked on hearing all this and said,"Let my wife and my unborn child go, if its me you want lets have a Duel right here right now."



Even Tobi said the same thing and both of them got ready for a duel.



Then the Younger Brother smiled and said,"As you wish."



He removed a stick from his pocket and uttered,"Shadow Spear Activate." The ordinary stick was then covered by Black Colored Chakra(Internal Energy) and the stick got modified into a Long Black Spear. He tapped the ground three times with his weapon and said,"The Forbidden Shadow Clan Attack- Death's Shade." Then even before anyone else in the room could move a muscle Darkness came out of the Spear and covered the entire room.



After a few seconds when the darkness disappeared everyone in the room who did not belong to The Shadow Clan died. The only people alive were The Leader of the Shadow Clan and his wife. The the evil Younger Brother uttered,"Shadow Claw." and the spear again modified into something different and attacked his elder brother with it. The Younger Brother was very quick and he impaled the heart of his elder brother with his weapon.



The Elder Brother died and his last words were,"Please have mercy on my child....."



Then the younger brother evilly looked at his brother's wife and started charging towards her with his weapon held high. Then he jumped into air and was about to pierce her heart.... Someone bellowed,"Solar Storm" and the room suddenly became very bright and the evil younger brother missed her heart but still managed to pierce her. When the brightness cleared the woman saw that it was the leader of The Sunshine Clan- Mr.Taiyoukou who had used his famous attack and drove away all the other Shadow Clan conspirators.



Mr.Taiyoukou's wife ran to help the woman in pain and said,"She is going into labor." and the Mistress of the Shadow Clan delivered a baby.



Then the Mistress of the Sunshine Clan said,"Lets take her to the nearest Medico, she is already loosing a lot of blood."



The Mistress of the Shadow Clan replied,"No, I can see that my end is near, and Please I am begging you take care of my baby and treat him as your own."



Mr.Taiyoukou said,"How can we do that he rightfully belongs to The Shadow Clan and he is the inheritor of the Clan's legacy now that his father is dead."



The Mistress of the Shadow Clan replied,"No, I cannot trust anyone from the Shadow Clan after what I saw just now, they will kill him also."



Then Mistress of the Sunshine Clan looked at her husband and he looked away signifying that he was not interested in raising that boy but his wife said to the Mistress of the Shadow Clan,"Don't worry sister, I will bring him up as my own son."



The Mistress of the Shadow Clan then smiled weakly and said in a low tone,"Please name him Kage Ryu, It means Shadow Dragon." and died.



Then Mr.Taiyoukou went into the garden to think for sometime and was surprised to see a little plant which was black in color that had come up just then.



He told his wife and she said,"It's a Shadow Clan tradition- Every house in which a baby from the Shadow Clan is born, a new Shadow Tree comes up and if a weapon is made from its wood then the magical powers of the kid will multiply many times. The Tree is also an indicator of the Kid's health and well being."



Mr.Taiyoukou didn't want to argue with her any longer and was silently mourning the death of his younger brother whom he had loved very much.
