By the time Ryu reached The Sunshine Dojo it was very late. As he entered the house he saw that everyone were sitting at the Dinner table. When the mistress of the Sunshine Clan saw him, she smiled warmly and asked,"Ryu where were you all Day?"
Ryu was not at all interested in talking to anyone from the Sunshine Clan but still forced himself to say,"I was playing by the River."
Then the Mistress of the Sunshine Clan said,"Oh OK go have a wash we were all waiting for you."
Ryu went quickly and came a little late. Then he sat down and Mr.Taiyoukou asked him in a serious tone,"Anything wrong Ryu? You look a little worried."
Ryu wanted to yell,"You are the problem!!!!!!!" but he just said,"Nothing like that." and quietly had his dinner while the other members of the Sunshine Clan were happily enjoyed their dinner talking to each other.
After the dinner Ryu went to the room which he shared with "His Younger Brother" after sometime his younger brother came and said,"Ryu you should've seen what Father taught me today. He taught me "The Solar Flare" Tomorrow he promised to teach me the Sunshine Clan's signature move "The Solar Storm"
Ryu's blood was boiling with every word he was hearing from his brother's mouth but he controlled his anger and simply said,"Good for you." and he pretended to be asleep but in reality he was thinking of various plans to steal the Sword the old man had asked him to bring.
He waited for everyone to go to sleep and he silently slipped out of his room and went to the place where the most important things of the Sunshine Clan are kept. But when he opened the door he was in for a surprise, he saw two big guards guarding something even at that time in the night. Members of the Sunshine Clan knew about his midnight antics so they just let him go with a warning and he had to go back to his room.
The next morning after another disastrous training session where he saw his brother activate his solar magic and use the latest attack "Solar Flare" and causing Ryu's eyes to temporarily get blinded.
Ryu ran off to "His" Dojo- the Shadow Clan Dojo and found the old man waiting for him. The old asked him,"Ryu did you bring the sword you asked me to bring?"
Ryu hung his head low and nodded in dismay. The old man got angry but he tried hard to hide his emotions and said,"OK Ryu so today we will have a theory class." and both of them went into the Shadow Clan Dojo. Ryu was eager to see what the old man was trying to do. Both of them went into the deeper parts of the Dojo and The old man lifted a mat below which was a door.
The old man said,"Ryu go down and you will learn all you always wanted to learn."
Ryu asked the old man,"It is pitch black in there why don't you come along."
To this the old man replied,"The secret passage is built in such a way that it allows only members of the Shadow Clan to pass through it and as you are a member of the Shadow Clan it will allow you to go and don't worry about the darkness. One hidden ability of the Shadow Clan members is to see in darkness."
So Ryu with fear and doubt in his heart went inside and after taking a few steps into the darkness everything became very clear to him. He could see everything in High Definition.
When he was moving through the passage on the walls he could see many inscriptions which made no sense for him. Then he reached the end of the tunnel and he found a cupboard. Not knowing what to expect he opened and found 3 rows.
The first one read, "Family Tree" The Second one read,"History and other Scriptures" The Third one read,"Attacks" He searched the first row and found an old piece of paper he removed it and when he was about to open it. The Magical Paper opened by itself and a 3D Hologram came and it showed his long and big family tree and at the very end of the Tree he saw his name "Kage Ryu" The Tree had many names and on all but two names were struck off one was his and the other was "Kagemaru".
He wanted to know what his Father's name was but it was struck off and it was not clear. So he learnt that one more person from Shadow Clan was living and he was none other than his Father's Brother meaning he was his "Uncle" Then he spent some more hours reading the scriptures and learnt more about his family's history.
