Once the Hell's Ninjas were ordered to attack, they went berserk and started attacking everyone in their sight except for the 4 people who comprised of Kagemaru and his 3 associates. The worst part for the Sunshine Clan members was that none of their Magical moves were showing any effect on those Ninjas. So naturally most of the Sunshine Clan Members were losing their lives.
Even if the Sunshine Clan members cut those Ninjas with their Magic attacks, the ninjas just regenerated their lost body parts magically. Mr.Taiyoukou put up a brave fight along with his son but even they were getting tired and knew their end was near until some miracle happened. As the remaining survivors of the Sunshine Clan were fighting desperately a losing battle an unearthly sound of pain made everyone stop what they were doing and looked what had happened.
They saw a pale skinned serious looking boy standing at the entrance who had his sword out and it was soaked in black viscous blood of the Hell's Ninjas but surprisingly they did not regenerate this time.
The Boy said in a low tone,"Kagemaru stop this madness right now or you won't be there to stop it later."
Kagemaru smiled at the boy and said,"My dear nephew you got me all wrong, this man Mr.Taiyoukou is the murderer of your father."
Ryu was no longer interested in listening to any more lies and snapped back,"Shut up and enough with that stupid story of yours."
Then Ryu put his hand into his kimono(dress) and removed the belt which belonged to the Chameleon Clan Guy and threw it Kagemaru.
Kagemaru said,"That fool was weaker than expected."
Mr.Taiyoukou shouted to Ryu to run away as he thought Ryu knew no magic and later asked him if he had really killed a person which went against the teachings of the Sunshine Clan.
Ryu said,"Sorry Mr.Taiyoukou but I was never a part of the Sunshine Clan to begin with."
Kagemaru said,"Then why don't you join me Ryu we can rise the Shadow Clan and restore it to its former glory."
Ryu smiled and said,"Kagemaru the only reason you want me is for the Spirit of the Shadow Dragon."
Kagemaru continued,"If you know that then why don't you give it to me my dear nephew."
To this Ryu said,"The only way you can get that spirit is by killing me."
Kagemaru smiled once more and said,"That's what I am going to do."
He ordered the Ninjas to attack him but Ryu proved too good for them because of the constant practice of Magical Attacks he was able to defeat most of them easily.
A handful of the Sunshine Clan members who were still living helped Ryu in means possible for them and Mr.Taiyoukou directly challenged Kagemaru for a Duel to Death.
Then an epic battle continued between Mr.Taiyoukou and Kagemaru but Kagemaru clearly had the upper hand as he used many attacks which Mr.Taiyoukou had not even heard about.
Mr.Taiyoukou asked Kagemaru,"Hey most of your attacks are not of the Shadow Clan style from where did you steal them."
Kagemaru said,"Mr.Taiyoukou the only reason you are going to loose this duel is because you have failed to change unlike me whose array of attacks have gone beyond those of the Mere Shadow Clan style."
Then Kagemaru pushed Mr.Taiyoukou back and was about to pierce him with his Shadow Spear but Ryu saw in time what was happening and bellowed,"Shadow Clan's Forbidden Attack - Shadow Fire Ball."
Then his Shadow Katana once again exploded in Black Flames and a fire ball which was not very big in size came hurtling towards Kagemaru with Immense speed.
Kagemaru never expected Ryu to use a forbidden move but before he could dodge the ball was very close to him and one of his associates jumped in front of Kagemaru.
That Associate's body seemed to be made of only water because the moment that attack touched him he began shrieking in pain and started evaporating. That associate looked at Kagemaru for help in his last moments but Kagemaru smiled and said,"Sorry, but the Shadow Fire Ball incinerates anything it touches even if it is the Master of the Water Style Attacks."
Ryu had become tired because of all the Magical Moves he was using and especially because of that Forbidden Attack and dropped to his knees breathing heavily.
